Oh my oh my oh dinosaurs

So for those of you who don't know, the boys LOVE dinosaurs. We have a book titled Oh my oh my oh dinosaurs, as well as How do dinosaurs love their dogs and How dinosaurs say I love you (the last two are from a series of dinosaur books we are collecting). If you ask the boys what dinosaurs say they will tell you "Rawr!" We love love love dinosaurs in this house so it made sense that this morning we went on a family outting to The Dinosaur Park in Bastrop. Now this place wasn't the most amazing place in the world but it was a fun little place to go to on a beautiful Sunday morning. It was all outside and you walk along a little path in the woods and find life-sized dinosaurs along the way.




Killian absolutely loved it and walked the entire way. His eyes lit up everytime he saw a new dinosaur and he would run up to it and greet it with a "Rawr!" Graham loved it in his own subtle way, by attaching himself on Mama's hip and in my arms, and by pointing and staring, and then telling me allllll about the dinosaur in front of us.




It was a really beautiful day. Around 70 degrees and breezy, the perfect day for a stroll through Dinosaur Park. Graham finally got the hang of walking along the path on his own, after a few temper tantrums of course.

At the end of the path was a playground and a bunch of picnic benches where we sat and ate our little picnic lunch. It was a wonderful family day and the boys really loved seeing all the different dinosaurs. The best part of the day came at the end of the path where there was a ginormous T-Rex and the look on both of the boys' faces was priceless (wish I had caught those looks on camera).


Killian was so amazed that he took off running toward the T-Rex. And of course after we left each dinosaur, the boys had to wave and tell them "bye."
